In 1949 at the age of eight, Raelene Vandeleur (nee Broughton) helped her father Keith plant the vines that now produce the grapes that go into making our Peeptoe Reserve Shiraz.
With the use of a crowbar, Keith would make a hole into the soil where Raelene would poke in the callused Shiraz cutting and cover around it with sand.
Thanks to their hard work and many years of dedication, we’re now able to enjoy the incredible wine these grapes produce.
Peeptoe Reserve is affectionately named after our youngest daughter Pearl.
The artwork ‘Momo’s Star’ is by our favourite UK artist Louise Robinson.
“This wine beats a lot of hot brash glamorites with post-modern monikers and labels made by people with a haircut” – Philip White
