This grape originating from Sicily suits our dry maritime climate.
Our small block of grapes are grown in deep sand over clay and hang on the vine until Autumn when they produce an intense flavour and firm tannin leading to a warm and well balanced wine.
Our patch of Nero D’Avola is nurtured using organic fertilisers and rock minerals, without pesticides, amongst our apple and pear trees.
Ripe mulberry and candied orange blend with spicy notes for a rich and smooth finish.
Perfect with pizza margherita. Drink now or cellar for 5 years.
The captivating artwork on our label is by UK artist Louise Robinson.
The name of our Nero D’Avola is affectionately named after our dog Lala, who dives down fox holes in the vineyard.
